Junior Sales Executive Intern
Project Description
Our client is seeking a 2nd semester sophomore or higher in the Boston area to assist with Inside/Outside sales and analytic activities.
Project Deliverables
Responsibilities:
• Contact potential clients through in person visits, cold calls and emails
• Present our company to potential clients
• Research new potential clients in the assigned territory
• Network within the existing and prospective client base
• Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
• Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction
• Build trusting relationships with clients
• Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
• Meet monthly client acquisition and retention targets
• Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Company Executives
• Drive the sales closure process to contract completion
• Report to the CEO on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
• Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans

Applicant Requirements:
• Be a 2nd semester sophomore or higher in an area of business with proven academic success; a GPA of 3.2 or higher
• Candidates must be able to work a minimum of 25 hours (Summer Program)
• Candidates must be able to work a minimum of 10 hours per week (Fall and Spring semesters)
• Demonstrate a passion for sales
• Be a self-starter and have demonstrated leadership experience
• Exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Demonstrate research and analytical skills
• Be involved in leadership roles on campus
• Convey knowledge of a CRM; preferred
• Demonstrate written and oral communication skills
• Be able to travel to visit prospective retail clients in the Boston area (via public transportation or
ride share is acceptable)
